We are looking for a

Bus Driver

to join our team.

This position is for our Al Ikhaa Contracting companies located in Dubai -UAE

Job Responsibilities:

Safely operate heavy buses/ light vehicle, ensuring compliance with traffic laws, regulations, and road safety guidelines. Adhere to all transportation laws, including speed limits, seatbelt use, and vehicle inspections. Follow truck driving regulations (such as size, weight, route restrictions, parking, and rest periods) along with company policies and procedures. Conduct regular vehicle inspections to identify mechanical and safety issues. Perform routine preventative maintenance on vehicles. Plan and follow efficient routes to ensure timely and safe deliveries, considering road conditions, traffic, and schedules. Complete necessary paperwork, including delivery receipts, logbooks, and trip reports. Manage invoicing control processes. Interact professionally and courteously with customers and recipients during deliveries and pickups. Communicate regularly with dispatchers and supervisors to provide updates on delivery progress, delays, and issues. Adhere to safety protocols and emergency procedures in case of accidents, breakdowns, or other incidents. Maintain accurate records of trips, mileage, fuel consumption, and cargo details. Verify and collect delivery instructions before each trip. Report any vehicle defects, accidents, or violations promptly. Perform other official duties as assigned by authorized personnel. Ensure a neat and clean uniform is worn at all times. Provide staff transportation for pick-up and drop-off from accommodation.

Skills and Qualifications:

Must hold at least

two valid UAE driving licenses

: Heavy Bus (Category 6), or Light Vehicle (Category 3). Possess a clean driving record. Healthy, energetic, reliable, and trustworthy. Proficient in Hindi and/or English. Well-versed with all major routes across the UAE. Strong understanding of UAE traffic laws and speed regulations.

Experience:

Heavy Bus driving: 2 years (Required) Light Vehicle - Manual: 2 year (Required)
