Responsibilities

Passenger Transportation

Safely transport passengers to and from assigned locations according to the schedule. Ensure all passengers are seated and doors are securely closed before driving.

Safety Compliance

Strictly follow traffic laws and safety regulations. Monitor and enforce passenger safety (e.g., use of seat belts, no standing while bus is moving).

Pre-Trip and Post-Trip Inspections

Perform routine vehicle checks before and after trips to ensure roadworthiness. Report any mechanical issues or damages to the maintenance department.

Route Management

Follow pre-defined routes and time schedules. Adjust routes in case of road closures or traffic delays while informing the supervisor if needed.

Passenger Assistance

Assist elderly, disabled, or special-needs passengers during boarding and disembarking. Provide clear communication and assistance to passengers when necessary.

Record Keeping

Maintain logs of driving hours, mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents. Keep records of pick-up and drop-off times, especially for school or employee transport services.

Vehicle Cleanliness and Maintenance

Keep the bus clean and presentable at all times. Refuel the bus and ensure it is properly parked and secured after duty.

Emergency Handling

Remain calm and follow proper procedures during emergencies (accidents, breakdowns, passenger issues). Notify emergency services and the company immediately when needed.

Customer Service

Interact with passengers in a courteous and professional manner. Handle complaints or concerns patiently and report unresolved issues to the supervisor.

Adherence to Company Policies

Follow all company rules, transport regulations, and operational procedures. Attend safety meetings and training sessions as required.
