Joey's is a vibrant Italian dining concept located in Wafi Mall, Dubai. We specialize in high-quality pizzas, fresh pastas and a warm, inviting atmosphere for families and professionals alike. We're looking for a passionate and skilled Burger & Grill Chef to join our kitchen team and help lead our culinary offering to the next level.

We are hiring an experienced

Burger & Grill Chef

responsible for preparing high-quality burgers, grilled items, and maintaining proper kitchen standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and cook burgers, grilled meats, steaks, according to recipes and standards Ensure all grill station preparations (mise en place) are ready before service Cook meats to requested doneness (medium, well-done, etc.) with accuracy and consistency Create and assemble burgers with proper portioning, sauces, toppings, and presentation Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the grill station, equipment, and tools Monitor inventory and report low-stock items to the Head Chef Ensure all food is stored, labeled, and handled according to food safety and HACCP standards Assist in developing new burger and grill items for the menu Maintain proper temperature control for meats and ingredients Manage food portions to reduce waste and ensure cost control Work efficiently during busy hours while maintaining quality Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth and timely service
Requirements & Skills:

Minimum 2 years experience as a Grill Chef, Burger Chef, Grill Cook, or similar role Strong experience preparing burgers, steaks and other grill dishes Knowledge of grilling techniques (medium, rare, well-done, searing, resting, etc.) Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment Understanding of food safety, hygiene standards, and HACCP procedures Ability to join

or with a short notice period (preferred) Must be currently in the UAE Good command of English (speaking and understanding)
