Job Description

Imperium Commodity Search is working with an Independent shipping and trading company head quartered in Dubai, the company offer a full spectrum of product offerings to their clients across Vessel Operations, Ship Chartering and Bunker / Marine Fuel Trading. With a multinational client base and strategic offices across Asia and Middle East the company has seen strong growth over the last 12 months and are currently seeking an experienced Bunker / Marine fuels trader to join their team in Dubai to continue to increase relations with Suppliers and Customers across the region promoting the companies services to Maritime industry.
Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for developing relations with Suppliers within major ports across the UAE and Middle East.
• Build relationships with Customers (Shipowners, Charterers, Operators, Brokers,) within the Middle East and Asia.
• Back to Back trading of Bunkers / Marine Fuels / LSFO / MGO and lubricants to global portfolio of Clients.
• Produce daily pricing and market reports for the region and global bunker markets for clients and suppliers.
• Responsible for maintaining account receivables and payments related to Bunker trades, whilst monitoring all enquiries.
• Business development, Identifying new market opportunities to increase marker share and revenue for the company within the marine fuels sector.

Experience:

• 6 years+ experience in back to back trading or Customer trading within the Bunker / Marine fuels sector.
• Experience with building/maintaining relationships with ship owners / traders / operators.
• Key understanding of Operations, Accounts management, and trading fundamentals.
• Proven record of managing and developing a profitable portfolio of business within the bunker industry.
• Good relationships with suppliers and port authorities within the UAE
• Located in Dubai (Or willing to relocate)
