Imperium Commodity Search is working with a privately owned international bunker trading firm looking to grow their Middle East market presence with an established, however, growing office in Dubai. With a strong presence in the market globally, they are seeking an experienced trader with customer and supplier relations within the UAE / Middle East markets. Responsible of leading and managing the expansion of their trading activities within the Bunker / Marine fuels sector.
Duties and Responsibilities:

• Oversee the expansion of the Marine fuel and Bunker trading business within the Middle East.
• Build relationships with ship owners/charterers/operators and suppliers within the local UAE and global ports.
• Maintain relationships with physical suppliers/terminals for the sourcing and delivery of Bunkers / Marine Fuels & Lubricants.
• Expand the client portfolio for the groups back to back trading activities - focused on team expansion and hiring.
• Communicating promptly / efficiently with the operations and finance teams to execute trades.
• Provide accurate and up to date market intelligence and analysis on the Marine Fuel / Bunker Markets.

Experience:

• 5 years+ experience in a back to back trading house or physical supplier (customer side)
• Experience with building/maintaining relationships with ship owners / traders / operators.
• Proven track record / PnL in back to back bunker trading
• Fluent in English (Other languages a benefit but not essential)
• Good relationships with suppliers and port authorities within the UAE
