Great new opportunity for an accomplished bunker broker at a market leading, independent bunker broking firm. Our client has offices globally covering Middle East, US and European markets servicing clients including oil majors, trading houses, ship owners and operators.
Our client is continuing apace with hiring plans to continue their recent growth. Well known within the market, an enthusiastic culture operating under a "family run" business model and offering very good remuneration packages this is a fantastic opportunity.

You will be working alongside a group of highly motivated brokers with guidance from a highly experienced management group with years of experience.
Duties & Responsibilities:

• Provide back to back trading/broking services of bunkers and marine fuels to Middle East based clients.
• Day to day broking activities growing key accounts whilst developing additional business with new suppliers, brokers and traders.
• Building relationships with suppliers and end users within the designated ports of your region.
• Trading of cross products including lubricant and cargo utilising blue chip accounts.
• Evaluating, planning, and implementing strategies for clients and provide analysis so as to plan effectively for future trades.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years' experience of trading marine fuels, Bunkers, MGO, MFO, Lubricants, fuel oils.
• An established network of transferrable business with a proven PnL track record within the Middle Eastern market.
• Impeccable knowledge of US ports, including bunkering and operational regulations such as ECA's (Emission Control Areas) and IMO 2020 is fundamental.
• Experience of gaining and growing key accounts/relationships with blue chip customers in the marine industry.
• Exceptional understanding of business development strategies and analytical skills.
