We are seeking skilled and experienced Building Electricians to carry out electrical installation works on construction and building sites. The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge and hands-on experience in wiring, conduit works, DB installation, and troubleshooting electrical systems in residential, commercial, or industrial buildings.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment on building sites.
Read and interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, and technical diagrams.
Install conduit, wiring, distribution boards (DBs), sockets, switches, lighting fixtures, and earthing systems.
Conduct testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of electrical systems.
Ensure work is performed in compliance with local regulations, safety standards, and company quality standards.
Collaborate with site engineers, supervisors, and other trades to ensure smooth workflow.
Identify and report material requirements and defects to the supervisor.
Maintain tools and equipment in proper working condition.
Follow site safety protocols and attend safety briefings as required.
Requirements:
ITI/Diploma in Electrical or equivalent technical certification.
Minimum 2-5 years of hands-on experience in building electrical installations.
Strong understanding of electrical systems, load calculations, and safety procedures.
Ability to work from drawings and specifications independently.
Good physical condition and willingness to work in outdoor construction environments.
Knowledge of DEWA/SEWA/FEWA standards (preferred for UAE).
