Job Summary:

Supports the setup, maintenance, and operation of broadcast equipment used in television, radio, or online media production. This role ensures that all technical equipment is prepared, functional, and ready for production, assisting engineers and operators as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in setting up, testing, and maintaining broadcast equipment, including cameras, microphones, audio mixers, lighting, and transmission devices. Help troubleshoot minor technical issues and report malfunctions to senior technicians or engineers. Organize and maintain equipment inventory, cables, and accessories. Ensure proper handling, storage, and transportation of broadcast equipment. Assist in live broadcasts, recordings, or events by preparing technical setups. Support routine maintenance, cleaning, and calibration of equipment. Follow safety protocols and operational procedures for all equipment. Coordinate with production teams to meet technical requirements for broadcasts. Maintain logs and records of equipment usage, repairs, and maintenance.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; vocational or technical training in electronics, broadcasting, or audio/video equipment is a plus. Basic knowledge of broadcast or audio/video equipment. Ability to handle and transport technical equipment safely. Good organizational skills and attention to detail. Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, or live events. Teamwork, communication, and reliability.
