RESPONSIBILITIES & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Act as the technical lead for all Broadcast, IPTV, CATV, and Audio/Visual systems for events, ensuring timely and reliable service delivery across all venues.

Plan, coordinate, and oversee the full lifecycle of broadcast and AV projects, including system design, vendor management, installation, testing, operation, and decommissioning.

Conduct site surveys and prepare detailed technical assessments and recommendations tailored to each venue's unique requirements.

Review vendor proposals, contracts, and SLAs to ensure compliance with technical specifications and service-level expectations.

Supervise the deployment and operation of:

CATV systems including digital and analog signal distribution.

IPTV systems including encoding, decoding, multicast video, and content management.

Broadcast-grade IP network infrastructure (e.g., spine-leaf architectures for video transport).

Audio-visual systems including display logistics, switching, control programming, and interpretation systems.

Manage international broadcast signal delivery, ensuring secure, redundant connectivity per IT and Broadcast Services guidelines.

Interface with local and international stakeholders, technical teams, and service providers to ensure seamless integration of all media technologies.

Coordinate AV control system programming, support operations during live events, and lead troubleshooting of all broadcast and AV incidents.

Prepare detailed operational plans, risk assessments, and technical reports for each event phase, ensuring compliance with industry standards and event requirements.

Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Telecommunications, Media Technology, or a related discipline.

Professional certifications in AV systems, broadcast technologies, or IPTV/CATV infrastructure (e.g., CTS, Dante, AVIXA, or similar) are an advantage.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum 10+ years of progressive experience in engineering, project delivery, and operations within multi-disciplinary environments including telecommunications, media & broadcasting, and A/V systems.

Proven success in delivering large-scale and mega-event projects, especially within sports, cultural, or international tournaments.

Strong hands-on experience in audio-visual system design, implementation, and operations, including:

Video conferencing, AV switching, audio DSPs, and control systems.

Integration with IT infrastructure (e.g., Datacenter, BMS, Access Control).

Solid background in IPTV and CATV broadcast transmission, including encoding, modulation, and content delivery networks.

Experience in facility management systems and engineering best practices in complex event environments.

Demonstrated capability in technical documentation, system configuration, and troubleshooting.

Excellent communication skills in English and strong organizational abilities, with the capacity to lead and coordinate cross-functional technical teams.
