The Role
RENECO\'s mission is to implement a global conservation strategy aiming to restore and preserve the Houbara bustard populations of North Africa (Chlamydotis undulata) and Asia (Chlamydotis macqueenii). To achieve these goals, RENECO has developed a multidisciplinary approach within different centers in Morocco, Central Asia, and the Arabian Peninsula by combining fundamental and applied research. To cope with the expansion of its activities and due to the development of new conservation projects, RENECO is opening new positions giving a unique opportunity to be part of an ambitious conservation program. You will join the Conservation Breeding Division and your main missions will concern: Zootechnical and scientific approach \xe2\x80\xa2 Comply with and strictly apply the established protocols to guarantee the development of the birds. \xe2\x80\xa2 Inspect and monitor the general state of the birds. \xe2\x80\xa2 Gain expertise in various zootechnical tasks: collection, vaccination, insemination, capture, containment, blood tests, food, and cleaning. Biosecurity understanding. \xe2\x80\xa2 Comply with hygiene, health, and safety instructions, particularly regarding the use of equipment, machinery, and chemicals. \xe2\x80\xa2 Monitor their applications on the field. Data recording and follow up \xe2\x80\xa2 Report data on company systems/forms adapted for this purpose and check its consistency (e.g., consumption of food, disease, deaths, weight). \xe2\x80\xa2 Ensure an efficient share of information and a high-quality of communication.

Requirements

• You have a passion for agricultural science / conservation programs and enjoy being part of a progressive and innovative team. \xe2\x80\xa2 Proficient with Ms Office Suite. Database management experience is preferred. \xe2\x80\xa2 Strong interpersonal and communication skills in English. \xe2\x80\xa2 Good organizational skills.
