Breast Surgeon
Job Description
Diagnose and manage a wide range of breast conditions, including breast cancer, benign tumors, cysts, and infections.
Perform breast surgeries such as lumpectomy, mastectomy, breast-conserving surgery, and sentinel lymph node biopsies.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including oncologists, radiologists, and reconstructive surgeons to create optimal patient care plans.
Provide consultations, second opinions, and pre-operative and post-operative patient counseling.
Interpret imaging studies and biopsy results to guide treatment recommendations.
Develop personalized surgical plans based on patient-specific needs and best-practice guidelines.
Participate in tumor board discussions and case reviews.
Maintain detailed and accurate medical documentation.
Educate patients on disease prevention, early detection, and treatment options.
Stay updated on the latest advancements in breast surgery and oncology practices.
