(Brown/Black Belt welcome) to lead engaging and developmentally-appropriate BJJ classes for children ages
5 and up
. The ideal candidate will have a natural talent for teaching, a kind and patient demeanor, and experience working with children across multiple age groups.
Responsibilities:
Lead structured BJJ classes for children ages 5+ across various skill levels and age groups.
Create a safe, inclusive, and motivating learning environment.
Teach age-appropriate techniques, drills, and discipline in line with Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu philosophy.
Foster positive relationships with students and their families.
Monitor and adapt class plans to accommodate different learning speeds and developmental stages.
Maintain a clean and respectful training area.
Serve as a role model for respect, resilience, and sportsmanship.
Qualifications:
Minimum rank of
4-striped Purple Belt
in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (Brown or Black Belt preferred).
Certified to teach BJJ through a recognized organization or academy.
Prior experience teaching or coaching children in martial arts or related sports.
Excellent communication skills and a warm, encouraging teaching style.
CPR/First Aid certification is a plus.
Must pass a background check.
