Job Summary:

The Brand Protection Investigator will support a global pharmaceutical\'s Brand Protection team by collecting market intelligence, evaluating leads, completing due diligence and fact gathering assignments to protect and enforce the client\'s intellectual property rights within the UAE region. The successful candidate will oversee product security investigations and be responsible for investigations conducted by 3rd party vendors and report into the Global Brand Protection Regional Director. This role is based in the UAE but is work from home.

Essential Functions:

  • Represent Pinkerton\'s core values of integrity, vigilance, and excellence.
  • Participate in the triage of product security incidents.
  • Collaborate with key internal stakeholders in determining appropriate investigative and resolution strategies.
  • Establish clear objectives and action plans for achieving set targets.
  • Establish and maintain a list of qualified 3rd party investigators within the region.
  • Assign work to 3rd party investigator vendors.
  • Review and approve investigative plans (IP) and estimated budgets.
  • Provide oversight of the investigative process and approve modifications to IPs and budgets as required.
  • Provide periodic investigative updates to key internal stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with 3rd party vendors as well as Law Enforcement Agencies on investigations referred for enforcement.
  • Ensure investigative records are kept up to date and related metrics are appropriately captured in the case management system.
  • Conduct periodic vendor performance assessments.
  • Maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners (Police Agencies, Customs, Health Authorities, Peer Companies).
  • All other duties, as assigned.

Education, Experience, and Certifications:

Bachelor\'s degree and three to five years of brand protection experience in a relevant industry, or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job, as determined by the company.   • Brand protection investigation experience.
  • Product security investigations experience, preferably in healthcare.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
