Maintain accurate books of accounts for the branch, including sales, purchases, expenses, and general ledger entries.
Handle daily cash management, petty cash, and bank transactions; ensure proper cash controls.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports for Head Office.
Process customer invoicing, receipts, and payments; follow up on outstanding receivables.
Verify and post supplier invoices; manage payables and payment schedules.
Reconcile bank statements, cash balances, and inter-branch accounts.
Ensure compliance with company accounting policies, VAT regulations, and audit requirements.
Support VAT documentation, filing preparation, and record maintenance.
Monitor branch expenses and assist in budget control.
Coordinate with sales and operations teams on billing, collections, and financial queries.
Maintain proper documentation and filing for all financial transactions.
Assist during internal and external audits.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2-4 years of accounting experience, preferably in a branch or retail environment.
Working knowledge of accounting software and MS Excel.
Good understanding of UAE VAT regulations.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Good communication skills in English; Arabic is an advantage.
