Bachelor's degree or equivalent in geology, geotechnical engineering, civil engineering, engineering geology, or an equivalent field.
At least 10 years' experience in witnessing all types of borehole seismic survey investigations including QAQC roles and technical work.
Understand Dynamic Positioning (DP) vessel operations and limitations.
Proven field experience in offshore geophysical data acquisition and QC experience, preferably in the Middle East and / or Qatar.
Ability to perform production logging and reporting including acquisition logs, downtime, system faults, and resolution tracking; HSE observations and TBTs.
Good knowledge of specialized seismic processing and interpretation software.
Have carbonate reservoir VSP/seismic data acquisition and QC experience (onshore and offshore)
Data acquisition QA/QC to assess first arrivals, signal-to-noise ratio, coupling of geophones to borehole wall, depth accuracy of receivers, source delay, far-field signature checks; evaluate adherence to source-receiver geometry, offset distances, and source repeatability
