We are looking for a skilled and safety-focused Equipment Operator to handle a variety of heavy machinery used in construction, excavation, roadwork, or other industrial projects. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience operating equipment such as excavators, loaders, bulldozers, or graders.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently on construction or job sites.
Inspect, maintain, and report equipment condition before and after use.
Follow project plans and directions from supervisors to complete tasks.
Load and unload materials and machinery as needed.
Perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting on equipment.
Adhere to safety regulations and company policies at all times.
Assist crew members in other duties as needed.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a heavy equipment operator.
Valid operator certification/license, if required.
Familiarity with various types of machinery (e.g., excavators, skid steers, backhoes).
Ability to read plans or blueprints (a plus).
Strong understanding of safety procedures.
Physical stamina and attention to detail.
