Job Description
\xe2\x80\x93 Supporting a 24/7 operation to provide adequate steam volume and quality to enable operations to meet their production plan.
\xe2\x80\x93 Attending emergencies e.g., leaks.
\xe2\x80\x93 Working as a team with other engineers.
\xe2\x80\x93 Maintaining a tidy working environment.
\xe2\x80\x93 Regular management of third-party contractors (E.g., Boiler & Burner Control companies, Weld repair companies, Insurance inspection, and Non-Destructive Testing).
\xe2\x80\x93 Maintain, repair, Testing & Commissioning, breakdowns and install Boiler.
\xe2\x80\x93 Troubleshoot, supervise, and/or make repairs on gas and fuel pressure lines, boilers, heaters, pumps, compressors, motors, controllers, heat exchangers.
\xe2\x80\x93 Schedule and supervise external contractors hired for work related to heating systems.
\xe2\x80\x93 Direct boiler work such as tube, header and brickwork, casing work and flue work.
\xe2\x80\x93 Install heating system equipment as required. Inspect fuel tanks.
\xe2\x80\x93 Working knowledge of steam systems and building management systems.
\xe2\x80\x93 Prepare and maintain records on treatment, oil, gas and chemicals consumption and steam and hot water production.
\xe2\x80\x93 Train and supervise staff on operation and repair of equipment as assigned.
Job Requirements:
\xe2\x80\x93 Should possess minimum 6 years of experience working as a Boiler Technician.
\xe2\x80\x93 Advanced understanding of steam fundamentals essential for management of Autoclave performance (Steam cooking) (not essential, for the right candidate we will provide training and development opportunities).
\xe2\x80\x93 Knowledge of heating systems, boiler and other related power equipment, boiler chemistry and water testing procedures, and boiler codes and safety standards.
\xe2\x80\x93 Boiler, Pressurized Vessels, and Facilities Experience.
\xe2\x80\x93 Experience in creating, planning, and undertaking PPM (Planned Preventive Maintenance) activities.
\xe2\x80\x93 Understanding of compliance with regard to Boilers and Pressurized Vessels.
