Boiler Plant Operator
Job Description
Operate and maintain boilers, pumps, turbines, and associated equipment to ensure proper functioning and efficient operation.
Monitor gauges, meters, and control systems to maintain optimal boiler performance by checking temperature, pressure, and fuel levels regularly.
Conduct routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning, lubricating, and repairing equipment to ensure longevity and efficiency.
Implement safety protocols and procedures to comply with regulations and prevent accidents. Perform safety checks and respond to emergencies as necessary.
Maintain accurate records of equipment operations, fuel consumption, and other relevant data for regulatory compliance and analysis.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in boiler operation and maintenance preferred.
Previous experience as a boiler plant operator or in a similar role is highly desirable.
Strong knowledge of safety protocols, regulations, and best practices in boiler operations.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve operational issues efficiently.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
