Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled

Bobcat/Roller Operator

to join our construction team in the UAE. The ideal candidate will operate Bobcats (skid-steer loaders) and road rollers for tasks such as earthmoving, material handling, and compaction work. This role is crucial to ensuring efficient and smooth operations on various construction, roadwork, or infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Bobcat Operator Duties:

Operate Bobcat skid-steer loaders for digging, loading, and moving materials like sand, gravel, dirt, or debris. Assist with trenching, grading, and leveling tasks on construction sites. Perform material handling duties such as loading and unloading from trucks. Work with various attachments (e.g., buckets, forks, augers) depending on the job requirements.

Roller Operator Duties:

Operate road rollers to compact soil, asphalt, and other materials during construction and roadwork projects. Ensure proper compaction of road foundations, pavements, and other surfaces. Adjust roller settings and speeds based on the type of material and job specifications. Monitor the quality of the work and ensure that surfaces meet required standards. Perform routine equipment inspections before, during, and after operations. Report any mechanical issues or malfunctions to the maintenance team. Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring safe and efficient operations. Coordinate with site supervisors, foremen, and other operators to ensure workflow is maintained. Follow all UAE safety regulations and company policies related to equipment operation and workplace safety. Assist with other general construction tasks when equipment is not in use.

Requirements:

At least 2-3 years of experience operating Bobcats (skid-steer loaders) and rollers (road rollers). Valid UAE heavy equipment operator license (required for construction equipment operation). In-depth knowledge of equipment functions, safety procedures, and construction site operations. Ability to operate machinery with precision and maintain productivity on a fast-paced job site. Familiarity with roadwork and infrastructure projects is highly desirable. Good communication skills in English, knowledge of Arabic or Hindi is a plus. Physically fit and able to work in harsh weather conditions typical of the UAE.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working on road construction or civil infrastructure projects in the UAE or GCC region. Strong focus on safety, with an understanding of UAE labor and construction regulations. Ability to perform basic equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
