Job Description

Job Summary:

The BMS Commissioning Engineer is responsible for testing, commissioning, and optimizing Building Management System (BMS) installations to ensure they operate according to design intent and client specifications. The role involves working closely with design, installation, and project teams to deliver high-performance, energy-efficient, and fully functional control systems for HVAC, lighting, and other building services.

Key Responsibilities:

Review project documentation, control drawings, and IFC design specifications

Develop commissioning plans, test documentation, and method statements.

Perform pre-commissioning checks on control panels, field devices, and network infrastructure.

Preparation of BMS database and graphics.

Upload, configure, and fine-tune BMS software, including graphics, points lists, and control strategies.

Conduct system calibration and verification of sensors, actuators, and other field equipment.

Carry out functional and performance testing of HVAC plant (AHUs, FCUs, chillers, boilers, VAVs, etc.) and associated control systems.

Identify and resolve technical issues during commissioning and handover.

Collaborate with the project team, consultants, and end-users to achieve system approval.

Prepare commissioning reports, test sheets, and as-built documentation.

Provide on-site training and support to clients and facility teams.

Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical / Electronics / Mechanical Engineering or related field.

3-7 years of experience in BMS commissioning, preferably with Sauter systems

Strong understanding of HVAC control logic, control panels, and electrical wiring diagrams.

Experience with system integration (BACnet, Modbus, LON, KNX, etc.).

Ability to interpret and modify BMS software and graphics.

Proficiency in using BMS engineering tools and commissioning software.

Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.

Pay: AED6,000.00 - AED9,000.00 per month
