:
Performs skilled electro-mechanical tasks on various Medical equipment under close supervision.
Responsibilities:
3.1 Performs maintenance repair tasks including disassembly, reassembly and test operation.
3.2 Prepares and enter data in logs, reports, form and equipment records about inspections, repairs and equipment condition and operation periodically.
3.3 Inspect all electro-mechanical systems that are part of the Bio-Medical Department.
3.4 Maintains the same and keeps checklists updated.
3.5 Prepares indents / request for supply of medical gas to the hospital.
3.6 Keeps data log of the change of cylinders and details of purchases.
3.7 Comply with all OSH and infection control policies, standards and procedures and cooperate with hospital management to comply those requirements
3.8 Work accordance with the documented OSH procedures and instructions, specific responsibilities
3.9 Be familiar with emergency and evacuation procedures
3.10 Notifying OSH Hazards, incidents, Near misses and issues and assistance with the preparation of risk assessments, incident reports
3.11 Comply with Waste management procedures and policies
3.12 Attend applicable OSH/Infection control training programs, mock drills and awareness programs
3.13 Use of appropriate personal protective equipment and safety systems
Qualifications:
4.1 Diploma in Bio Medical Engineering / High School plus technical qualification and training in field of electronics or instrumentation is preferred.
4.2 One (1) year experience in maintenance involving application of trade school training.
4.3 Having good interpersonal skills.
4.4 Excellent command of oral and written English to read and understand technical literature and schematics. Knowledge in Arabic is desirable but not essential.
