Position Summary:

As a Biomedical Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, calibration, maintenance, and repair of Fresenius dialysis equipment and other biomedical devices within our facility. You will ensure all equipment meets regulatory compliance and supports the highest standards of patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair Fresenius dialysis machines (2008T, 2008K, NxStage, etc.) Perform routine calibration and preventive maintenance Ensure equipment compliance with safety standards and regulatory guidelines (FDA, AAMI, CMS) Provide technical support and training to clinical staff Maintain accurate service records and documentation Collaborate with vendors and clinical teams for system updates and equipment evaluations

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electronics, or related field Minimum 2 years of experience working with Fresenius dialysis equipment Strong understanding of dialysis technology and biomedical standards Familiarity with CMS/AAMI regulations and Joint Commission standards Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills Certification from the Association for the Advancement of Medical Instrumentation (AAMI) is a plus
