Biomedical Engineer
to join our team.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee installation, operation, and maintenance of
medical gas pipeline systems (MGPS)
and related infrastructure.
Ensure all medical gas outlets, alarms, manifolds, and equipment comply with UAE regulatory standards.
Perform routine preventive maintenance and safety checks on biomedical equipment in the surgical center.
Troubleshoot, repair, and calibrate medical devices used in operating theatres, recovery rooms, and specialty treatment areas.
Maintain accurate documentation, maintenance logs, and compliance reports.
Coordinate with facility management, contractors, and clinical teams during expansions, upgrades, or technical interventions.
Ensure adherence to international standards such as
DHA, and MOHAP guidelines
.
Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in
Biomedical Engineering
or related field.
Minimum
3-5 years
of experience in a healthcare facility, ideally in a
day surgery or hospital setting
.
Mandatory experience
in:
Medical gas pipeline setup & commissioning
Manifold systems, oxygen banks, vacuum & compressed air systems
Strong knowledge of surgical equipment, sterilization devices, anesthesia machines, and monitoring systems.
Excellent troubleshooting skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure.
