Biomedical Engineer Approved By Abu Dhabi MunicipalityJob Summary Reporting to the General Manager, the Biomedical Engineer provides Biomedical planning and consultancy services based on the projects requirements and designs the project to meet international standards. Responsibilities - Prepare and review medical layouts and create medical equipment loaded drawings including furniture - Evaluation of vendor suggested medical equipment. - Review and approve materials / equipment selection, specifications and installation to ensure that all medical equipment meets the latest technology. - Prepare and review room-by-room list. - Review a healthcare facility design to ensure the construction works proceed as intended. - Inspect site installation, testing and commissioning of all related medical equipment as per the approved design - Prepare and review room requirements layouts (Room data sheets). - Prepare and review medical equipment and furniture BOQs. - Prepare and review technical specifications for medical equipment and furniture. - Perform technical evaluation for equipment and furniture proposals. - Conduct ongoing construction site inspections during every phase to discover and address potential issues and escalate as appropriate. - Monitor the contractor's performance in implementation of the Medical Equipment works and its compliance with the approved design, shop drawings and specifications. Supervising and monitor logistical coordination of various projects.
