Job Title: Biology Teacher/IELTS 6.5/ Cycle 3 [Female-Al Ain]
Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Biology Teacher for one of our reputable client in Al Ain, delivering high-quality instruction to students in Cycle 3 (Grades 7-9) within a forward-thinking academic environment. The ideal candidate will be a certified educator with a strong command of biology curriculum standards, proven teaching experience, and a commitment to fostering student engagement, critical thinking, and academic excellence. This role is specifically tailored for a female educator and requires certification from ADEK (Abu Dhabi Education Council), a minimum IELTS score of 6.5, and a deep understanding of international curriculum frameworks. The Biology Teacher will play a pivotal role in shaping students' scientific literacy, preparing them for higher education and global assessments, including IELTS. Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, curriculum-aligned biology lessons for Cycle 3 students using inquiry-based, student-centered teaching methodologies.

• Develop and implement lesson plans, assessments, and learning materials that meet ADEK standards and promote critical thinking and scientific inquiry.

• Monitor student progress through regular formative and summative assessments, providing timely and constructive feedback.

• Integrate technology and multimedia tools to enhance learning and support differentiated instruction.

• Prepare students for international examinations, including IELTS, by incorporating language and content integration strategies in science instruction.

• Collaborate with colleagues in departmental meetings, curriculum development, and cross-disciplinary projects.

• Maintain accurate student records and participate in school-wide academic reporting and review processes.

• Foster a positive, inclusive, and safe classroom environment that values diversity, respect, and academic integrity.

• Engage in professional development activities and contribute to school improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Biology, Science Education, or a closely related field from a recognized institution.

• Valid ADEK certification or eligibility for certification as a Biology Teacher in the UAE.

• Minimum IELTS score of 6.5 (with no band below 6.0) or equivalent English language proficiency.

• 4-5 years of progressive teaching experience in secondary education, preferably in Cycle 3 (Grades 7-9) within an international or UAE-based school.

• Proven experience in designing and delivering science curricula aligned with international standards (e.g., Cambridge, IB, or American curriculum).

• Strong command of scientific content knowledge and pedagogical strategies for teaching biology at the secondary level.

• Demonstrated ability to integrate language development into science instruction, particularly for IELTS preparation.

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.

• Commitment to continuous professional growth and student-centered learning.
