Secondary Math Teacher
Location: Ras Al Kaimah, UAE
Start date: January 2025
Curriculum: UK & IB
Salary: Fixed at 15,000 AED including accommodation allowance
Experience: 1 year minimum required
Contract: 2 or 3 years
This is a co-educational school and one of the oldest and largest schools in the UAE and is a not for profit, non selective school serving over 3,200 students from 97 different nationalities from Pre KG up to Grade 12. Founded in 1975 with its core value being "learning excellence with a community heart", the schools follow either the UK curriculum or the IB curriculum. This vacancy is in their International British curriculum school which offers UK curriculum from Grade 6 to Grade 12 but also offers IBDP in grades 11 and 12.
Location Overview:
The school is centrally located in Khuzam in the northern most emirate of the UAE (Ras Al Kaimah) close to the coast. This location would suit those looking for a slightly quieter pace of life and who enjoy outdoor beach and mountain activities. There is a large expat community close by (most reside in nearby Al Hamra. You'll find hotels, restaurants and large malls and have Dubai nearby (one hour away).

Requirements:
- Experience of UK curriculum preferred but not essential
- Minimum one years experience preferred
- You must have a first degree in your teaching subject
- Previous EAL teaching experience preferred
