Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Binding & Finishing Staff member to join our digital printing company. The role involves handling post-printing operations such as cutting, creasing, folding, laminating, binding, and packaging. The candidate should ensure high-quality finishing of all printed materials, maintaining accuracy, speed, and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate and maintain various finishing equipment including: Guillotine cutting machine Creasing and folding machines Perfect binding, saddle stitching, spiral binding, and wiro binding machines Lamination and UV coating machines Die-cutting and perforation machines Perform manual finishing tasks (mounting, collating, pasting, hand-folding, etc.) as required. Ensure accuracy in trimming, binding, and finishing according to job specifications. Inspect finished products for quality, consistency, and defects before dispatch. Coordinate with the printing and design team to ensure correct finishing instructions are followed. Maintain cleanliness and proper functioning of finishing machines. Follow production schedules to meet client deadlines. Pack, label, and prepare completed jobs for delivery or dispatch. Maintain safety standards and adhere to company policies in the production area.

Qualifications & Skills:

Minimum 2-3 years of experience in binding/finishing in a printing environment (preferred). Hands-on knowledge of different binding and finishing techniques. Technical knowledge of operating binding/finishing machines. Strong attention to detail and quality control. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Team player with good communication skills. Basic troubleshooting and machine maintenance knowledge.

Work Conditions:

Full-time role, based in production/print workshop. May require overtime based on urgent deadlines. Physically active role - requires standing, lifting, and manual handling.
