We now seek a BIM Technician to be based in our Dubai office.

Role Responsibilities

Coordinate BIM models with architectural, structural, and other MEP disciplines to eliminate clashes. Develop, modify, and maintain BIM models for MEP systems using Autodesk Revit and other BIM software. Ensure all models adhere to project-specific BIM execution plans and company standards Assist in the design of MEP Systems where applicable. Prepare detailed drawings, layouts, and schedules for MEP systems using BIM tools. Conduct clash detection and resolution using software like Navisworks. Perform regular model audits to ensure compliance with quality standards and project requirements. Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and other team members to understand project goals and deliverables. Provide support and guidance to team members on BIM processes and software usage. Generate and update MEP BIM-related reports, drawings, and schedules. Maintain accurate documentation and records throughout the project lifecycle. Keep up to date with the latest advancements in BIM software and methodologies. Propose process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in BIM workflows.

Role Requirements

You will need to possess the following professional and technical expertise:


BSC/BEng, BTEC National Dip in Construction or equivalent in appropriate engineering discipline (desirable) Minimum of 3 years in BIM modeling and coordination Experience in data centres preferred but not essential Proficiency in Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, ACC and other BIM-related tools Strong understanding of MEP systems and required coordination Knowledge of MEP codes, standards, and regulations Familiarity with clash detection and resolution processes Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities Excellent communication and teamwork skills Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality Autodesk Certified Professional in Revit is preferred Commitment to continuous learning and staying updated on industry trends
