Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

BIM Model Development:

Create, modify, and coordinate structural BIM models to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to project specifications.

Structural Analysis & Design:

Collaborate with the design team to integrate structural design with the overall BIM model, ensuring structural integrity and compliance with relevant codes.

Clash Detection & Resolution:

Use BIM tools (e.g., Navisworks) to identify and resolve clashes between structural models and other disciplines (e.g., architectural, MEP).

Collaboration:

Work closely with architects, MEP engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of structural elements into the BIM workflow.

Software & Technology Management:

Utilize BIM software (e.g., Revit, Tekla) for structural modeling and stay updated with industry advancements in BIM technology.

Quality Control:

Ensure that structural BIM models meet project requirements, quality standards, and client expectations.

Documentation & Reporting:

Prepare and maintain BIM-related documentation, including drawings, schedules, and model updates.

Client & Stakeholder Support:

Assist in presenting structural BIM designs to clients and stakeholders, providing technical expertise and ensuring alignment with project objectives.

Requirements:

Education:

Bachelor's in Structural Engineering or related field; BIM certification (e.g., Revit, Tekla) is a plus.

Experience:

Minimum of 7 years of experience in structural BIM, with a focus on large-scale projects.

Skills:

Expertise in structural BIM software (Revit, Tekla, Navisworks), strong understanding of structural engineering principles, and effective collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills:

Knowledge of 4D/5D BIM applications for scheduling and cost management, experience with structural analysis software.
