Position Overview
Parsons Corporation is hiring a BIM Specialist - MEP to develop, implement, and manage Building Information Modeling (BIM) processes for large-scale construction projects in Dubai. The role focuses on coordinating Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems with other disciplines, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and seamless integration across design and construction phases.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain precise 3D BIM models for MEP systems in line with project specifications and BIM standards.
• Coordinate MEP designs with architectural, structural, and civil models to ensure accurate interdisciplinary integration.
• Conduct clash detection using Navisworks and propose resolutions to avoid construction conflicts.
• Generate detailed construction drawings, schedules, and reports directly from BIM models.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and contractors to ensure the MEP design intent is accurately implemented.
• Support project teams in resolving design and model coordination issues during design and construction stages.
• Perform model audits to ensure quality, accuracy, and consistency of BIM data.
• Ensure adherence to BIM Execution Plans and compliance with ISO 19650 and other BIM standards.
• Develop BIM workflows and data management procedures to enhance design efficiency.
• Provide technical support and training for team members on Revit, AutoCAD MEP, Navisworks, and Dynamo.
• Stay updated with BIM advancements, integrating new technologies and best practices into project workflows.

Ideal Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
• 10-15 years of experience in BIM and MEP coordination within the construction industry.
• Expert proficiency in Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD MEP, Navisworks, and Dynamo.
• Solid understanding of MEP systems and their integration within multidisciplinary models.
• Experience in large-scale commercial, residential, or industrial projects.
• Familiarity with energy analysis, sustainability modeling, and smart building systems.
• Knowledge of ISO 19650 and BIM Execution Plan development.
• Strong attention to detail, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Autodesk Certified Professional in Revit MEP preferred.
