Position Overview
Parsons Corporation is hiring a BIM Specialist - Civil (Luxury Projects) to lead the development and management of Building Information Modeling (BIM) processes for high-end civil and infrastructure projects in Dubai. The role focuses on delivering precision-driven, visually refined BIM models that integrate site infrastructure, utilities, grading, and structural components to meet the aesthetic and performance expectations of luxury developments.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, manage, and maintain detailed BIM models for civil works including grading, utilities, roads, and drainage systems.
• Integrate civil models with architecture, MEP, structural, and landscape disciplines to ensure coordination across luxury development projects.
• Conduct clash detection and resolve design conflicts using BIM tools.
• Support the design and construction teams with precise 3D modeling and visualizations aligned with luxury standards.
• Lead coordination meetings to identify civil-related design and execution issues, providing BIM-based solutions.
• Ensure that models comply with local regulations, authority standards, and ISO 19650 BIM frameworks.
• Generate detailed civil drawings, reports, and construction documentation from BIM models.
• Audit and review models regularly to maintain data quality and accuracy throughout the project lifecycle.
• Identify and mitigate design or construction risks through proactive BIM analysis.
• Mentor project staff on BIM workflows, software tools, and data management practices.
• Collaborate with design consultants, contractors, and project managers to ensure smooth information exchange and execution.
• Stay updated with emerging BIM and digital construction technologies applicable to luxury civil projects.

Ideal Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related discipline.
• 10-15 years of experience in BIM modeling and coordination, with at least 10 years in luxury residential, hospitality, or commercial projects.
• Proficiency in Autodesk Civil 3D, Revit, Navisworks, and other relevant BIM platforms.
• Strong understanding of civil infrastructure systems, including grading, utilities, drainage, and road networks.
• Experience in high-end project coordination, ensuring technical excellence and luxury design integration.
• Knowledge of local codes and authority requirements for Dubai developments.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and team collaboration skills.
• Autodesk Certified Professional in Civil 3D or BIM preferred.
• Familiarity with landscape coordination and site detailing in upscale developments.
