to develop accurate and detailed Building Information Models for interior fit-out projects. The role involves coordinating with designers, engineers, and site teams to ensure clash-free, high-quality BIM deliverables aligned with project specifications and timelines.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain
interior BIM models
(walls, ceilings, floors, joinery, furniture, fixtures, and finishes).
Prepare
LOD 300-400
detailed models and construction drawings.
Coordinate with architectural, MEP, and structural teams to identify and resolve clashes.
Generate shop drawings, BOQs, and schedules from BIM models.
Ensure compliance with project standards, BIM execution plans, and client requirements.
Update models based on design changes, site conditions, and RFI responses.
Support coordination meetings and provide BIM-related technical input.
Maintain organized model files and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or Civil Engineering.
3-5 years
of experience as a BIM Modeler (Interiors / Fit-Out).
Proficiency in
Revit
, AutoCAD, and Navisworks.
Strong understanding of
interior fit-out detailing and materials
.
Experience in clash detection and coordination workflows.
Knowledge of BIM standards, LOD, and shop drawing production.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Preferred Experience:
UAE or GCC project experience.
Exposure to commercial, residential, or hospitality interior projects.
Basic knowledge of Dynamo or BIM 360 is an advantage.
