Position Overview
The BIM Modeler - Mechanical role at Azizi Developments in Dubai supports high-rise and residential construction projects by developing, coordinating, and managing detailed mechanical BIM models to ensure accuracy, constructability, and compliance with project and authority requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, model, and manage mechanical BIM models covering HVAC, plumbing, and fire fighting systems using Revit MEP
• Prepare LOD 300 to LOD 500 models in line with project requirements and BIM standards
• Coordinate mechanical models with architectural, structural, and other MEP disciplines to resolve clashes
• Perform and manage clash detection using Navisworks and coordinate resolution with project teams
• Produce accurate shop drawings, coordination drawings, and as-built drawings
• Ensure BIM models comply with UAE local authority requirements such as Dubai Municipality, DEWA, Civil Defense, and relevant regulations
• Review design drawings, specifications, and RFIs to ensure model accuracy and constructability
• Support BIM coordination meetings and technical discussions with consultants and contractors
• Maintain BIM documentation, naming conventions, version control, and model updates
• Assist BIM Engineers and Managers in implementing BIM Execution Plans and workflows
• Ensure timely delivery of BIM models in accordance with project schedules

Ideal Profile

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• 5 to 10 years of proven experience as a Mechanical BIM Modeler
• Strong experience on high-rise and residential projects within the UAE
• Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit MEP
• Working knowledge of Navisworks Manage for clash detection and coordination
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, BIM 360, and related BIM tools
• Solid understanding of MEP systems, standards, and construction methodologies
• Knowledge of UAE building codes and authority approval processes
