BIM Modeler - Aluminum & Facade

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated

BIM Modeler

with hands-on experience in

Aluminum & Facade or Steel Structural systems

. The ideal candidate will be proficient in

Revit

and responsible for developing accurate 3D BIM models, construction drawings, and coordination outputs in line with project and industry standards. You will work closely with engineers, architects, and project teams to ensure precise representation of design intent and constructability.

Key Responsibilities

BIM Modeling & Documentation

Develop, maintain, and update detailed 3D BIM models using

Revit

for aluminum, facade, and steel structural systems Produce shop drawings, elevations, sections, and plans directly from BIM models Ensure model accuracy throughout all project stages, reflecting design revisions and site changes

Coordination & Clash Detection

Coordinate BIM models with architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines Perform clash detection using

Navisworks

or similar tools and support resolution during coordination meetings

Quantity Take-Off & Quality Control

Prepare material take-offs, schedules, and quantities from BIM models Ensure BIM deliverables comply with project standards, BIM execution plans, and quality requirements

Stakeholder & Team Support

Support engineers, project managers, and site teams with BIM-related technical inputs Assist in BIM model presentations to clients, consultants, and contractors Provide technical guidance to junior BIM team members

Required Qualifications & Skills

Experience:

3-5 years of BIM modeling experience in

Aluminum & Facade or Steel Structural projects

Software:

Advanced proficiency in

Revit

; working knowledge of

AutoCAD and Navisworks

(Tekla is an advantage)

Technical Knowledge:

Strong understanding of facade systems, aluminum profiles, steel structures, fabrication, and installation processes

Standards:

Familiarity with construction standards, shop drawing practices, and coordination workflows

Attention to Detail:

High accuracy in modeling, detailing, and documentation

Communication:

Strong verbal and written communication skills in English

Preferred Qualifications

Degree or Diploma in

Architectural Technology, Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering

, or related discipline BIM certifications (e.g.,

Autodesk Certified Professional

) Experience on

large-scale or complex facade / steel structure projects

Additional Skills

Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced project environment Strong problem-solving and coordination skills Knowledge of sustainable design and energy-efficient facade systems is an advant
