Job title: BIM ID DESIGNER

Key Responsibilities

Develop and manage detailed 3D BIM models for interior design, including walls, partitions, ceilings, furniture, fixtures, finishes, and other interior elements using Autodesk Revit. Create high-quality drawings, sections, elevations, floor plans, schedules, specifications, and visualizations derived from the BIM models. Collaborate closely with interior designers, architects, engineers, and project managers to accurately represent design concepts and integrate them into the BIM model. Perform clash detection and model coordination across disciplines, architectural, structural, and MEP to identify and resolve conflicts using tools like Navisworks. Develop and maintain Revit families, CAD blocks, templates, and modeling standards to ensure consistency across interior elements. Keep interior models updated with design revisions, as-built changes, and ensure model accuracy throughout project stages. Manage BIM file organization, version control, archiving, and ensure compliance with BIM standards and execution plans. Extract and prepare deliverables drawings, schedules, and coordination reports for internal and client review. Present model progress and solutions in project meetings, providing input to enhance design outcomes and model quality. Offer technical support during construction phases to facilitate accurate implementation of interior design intent on-site. Stay current with the latest advancements in BIM tools, workflows, and interior design trends to improve modeling efficiency and creativity. Boost team competency by providing guidance or training to less experienced BIM modelers or interns, where applicable.
