Bim Designer – Facade (aluminum)

Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Develop and manage BIM models for aluminium and glass facade systems using Revit and AutoCAD. Prepare detailed shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and installation details. Coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure design integration. Generate 3D visualizations, clash detections, and model-based documentation. Support design and estimation teams with accurate BIM data and quantities. Maintain and update BIM libraries and ensure compliance with standards. Provide technical support to the site and fabrication teams.
Qualifications & Experience:
Diploma or Bachelor's in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or related field. 3-5 years of experience in BIM design (facade/aluminium systems). Strong proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks (BIM 360 preferred). Good knowledge of curtain wall, unitized, cladding, and glazing systems. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with parametric modeling and Revit family creation. Knowledge of BIM standards (ISO 19650) and LOD development. Familiarity with shop drawing automation and data extraction tools.
