As a BIM (Building Information Modeling) Coordinator in the modular kitchen industry, your primary responsibility will be to coordinate and oversee the implementation of BIM processes, standards, and technologies to ensure efficient project delivery. You will work closely with design teams, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate and detailed modeling and documentation of modular kitchen projects. You will also be responsible for managing and maintaining BIM databases, providing technical support, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize design and construction workflows.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with project teams to identify BIM requirements and develop project-specific BIM execution plans.
• Coordinate and manage the creation, organization, and maintenance of BIM models, drawings, and project documentation.
• Ensure adherence to industry standards and best practices for BIM implementation.
• Collaborate closely with architects, designers, engineers, and vendors to integrate BIM processes and technologies into project workflows.
• Conduct clash detection analyses and resolve conflicts within models to identify potential coordination issues.
• Generate accurate construction documents, including detailed drawings, schedules, and quantification reports.
• Train and mentor team members on BIM software and processes to enhance overall project delivery efficiency.
• Provide technical support to project teams regarding BIM software, interoperability, and information exchange.
• Act as the primary point of contact for any BIM-related issues or inquiries.
• Stay up to date with industry trends and advancements in BIM technologies and workflows to suggest improvements and innovations.

Key Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor\'s degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a BIM Coordinator or similar role within the construction or architectural industry.
• Proficient in BIM software packages such as Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, and other related applications.
• In-depth knowledge of BIM workflows, standards (e.g., IFC, COBie), and best practices.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think analytically.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, with the capacity to work effectively in a team environment.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Familiarity with modular kitchen design and construction processes will be a plus.
• Understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems in the context of modular kitchen projects will be advantageous.
• Any BIM-related certifications or training will be considered an asset.
