Ramboll are looking for a BIM coordinator to join our offices located in Dubai, UAE. The successful candidate will provide BIM engineering services on mega projects to Ramboll and its Clients\'

The successful candidate will be focal point for BIM project delivery and to coordinate closely with project team to ensure that projects are set up correctly and delivered efficiently through all design stages. For this role, the candidate should have;

• As a BIM Coordinator, you will support the BIM Manager in coordinating and managing clash detection, reporting, and resolution processes. Your primary responsibility will be to conduct clash detection analysis, generate reports, and assist in the resolution of clashes.
• You will work closely with design teams, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure effective coordination and communication throughout the project lifecycle.

• Clash Detection and Reporting:

• Utilize BIM software (e.g., Navisworks, Revit) to perform clash detection analysis on BIM models.
• Identify clashes and conflicts within the models and generate clash reports for review.
• Collaborate with design teams and project stakeholders to prioritize and categorize clashes based on their severity and impact.
• Prepare and distribute clash detection reports to relevant parties, ensuring timely communication of clashes and potential coordination issues.
• Clash Resolution Support:

• Assist in coordinating clash resolution meetings with design teams and project stakeholders.
• Facilitate discussions and support the resolution process by providing accurate clash information and guidance.
• Collaborate with design teams to develop clash resolution strategies and alternative solutions.
• Update clash detection reports and models to reflect the status and progress of clash resolution activities.
• BIM Coordination:

• Assist in the coordination of BIM models from various disciplines and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with the BIM Manager to ensure proper file naming, version control, and organization of BIM models.
• Support the exchange and integration of BIM models and data between project participants.
• Assist in the management of BIM data and file sharing platforms.
• Quality Control:

• Review BIM models for quality, accuracy, and adherence to project requirements and industry standards.
• Conduct regular checks to ensure model integrity and identify potential issues or discrepancies.
• Collaborate with design teams to address and resolve quality control issues.
• Collaboration and Communication:

• Maintain effective communication and coordination with design teams, project managers, and other stakeholders.
• Participate in coordination meetings and provide updates on clash detection and resolution activities.
• Assist in the dissemination of BIM-related information and best practices to project participants.

Qualifications

• Bachelor\'s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Proficiency in BIM software (e.g., Navisworks, Revit) and clash detection tools.
• Familiarity with clash detection and coordination processes in the AEC industry.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to analyze complex models for clashes and conflicts.
• Good communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with design teams and project stakeholders.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of BIM standards, protocols, and best practices.
• Continuous learning mindset and a desire to develop expertise in BIM coordination and clash resolution.
