Bim Coordinator

Job Description
We are looking for a skilled and experienced BIM coordinator. The ideal candidate for this position would have:
- A bachelor degree in engineering, or construction management.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in BIM coordination.
- Proficiency in BIM software such as Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks
- Experience with COBie and BIM 4D/5D.
- Strong communication and project management skills.
- Developing and implementing BIM project execution plans.
- Ensuring compliance with BIM standards and protocols
- Ensuring compliance with BIM standards and protocols
- Coordinating BIM activities among project stakeholders, including architects, engineers, contractors, and owners.
- Ensuring that BIM models are accurate, consistent, and aligned with project goals and objectives.
- Providing training and support for project team members on BIM tools and processes.
- Facilitating collaboration and communication among project team members using BIM.
- Managing BIM model data and ensuring it is properly stored and backed up.
- Providing BIM model-based quantity takeoffs and cost estimates.
- Collaborating with project team members to develop and maintain project schedules using BIM.
- Providing BIM-based clash detection and coordination.
- Facilitating the creation and coordination of BIM-based construction documents.
- Coordinating the use of BIM models with fabrication and construction activities.
- As-Built Model: develop as-built BIM model of the building, structure or MEP elements from the point cloud data.
- Model validation and quality control: The BIM model is then validated and quality controlled to ensure that it is accurate and complete.
- This process may involve comparing the BIM model with the point cloud data, as well as checking it against the building\'s drawings and specifications.
- Well versant with COBie.
- 4D schedule: A schedule of the construction process, including the start and finish dates for each activity, and the relationships between them.
- Integration: The schedule is linked to the 3D BIM model, so that the team can visualize the construction process over time.
- Simulation: The model can be animated to simulate the construction process, allowing the team to identify potential issues and optimize the schedule.
