Job Description

24/05/2023 AB-XY Job Title: BIM Coordinator Responsibilities:
  • Drawings Management: Collect and review drawings from clients, classify them, and maintain a log to track the received and required remaining data. Ensure all necessary information is organized and accessible for the project.
  • Client Communication: Prepare reports summarizing clients' needs, requirements, and comments for the back office technical team. Effectively communicate with clients to understand their expectations and relay relevant information to the technical team.
  • Progress Reporting: Prepare and present weekly progress reports for each project, highlighting key milestones, challenges, and achievements. Collaborate with the technical manager to provide accurate updates on project status.
  • Coordination and Collaboration: Act as a liaison between clients' representatives and the back office technical team. Facilitate effective communication, ensuring understanding and prompt updates to meet project objectives and timelines.
  • Presentations and Demonstrations: Prepare and deliver presentations to clients, consultants, and contractors' representatives to showcase completed work, address queries, and provide technical insights. Present the project's BIM models and demonstrate their value and functionality.
  • Tender Projects and Quotation: Study tender projects, estimate requirements, and assist in preparing quotations. Engage with potential clients, follow up on leads, and provide necessary support to the business development team.
  • Invoicing and Payment Management: Prepare payment invoices and diligently follow up on their approval and payment status. Maintain accurate records and ensure timely payment collection.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
  • Strong proficiency in BIM software (e.g., Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks).
  • Excellent organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proven experience in coordinating BIM projects.
  • Knowledge of construction processes, industry standards, and relevant codes.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
  • Familiarity with tendering processes and project estimation.
  • Prior experience in preparing reports and delivering presentations is preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing project requirements.
