BIM CAD Technician - Storm Water and Wet Utilities - Parsons Corporation - Dubai, UAE
Position Overview
The BIM CAD Technician role at Parsons Corporation in Dubai supports storm water drainage and wet utilities projects by delivering accurate BIM models and CAD drawings. This position works closely with BIM and design leads to ensure drawings, models, and quantities are produced in line with project standards, QA processes, and delivery timelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate closely with BIM Lead and Design Leads to ensure compliance with project policies, BIM standards, and delivery schedules
• Produce engineering drawings using CAD and BIM tools, including layouts, arrangements, flow sheets, assemblies, isometrics, and component details
• Manage BIM activities from project initiation through to completion in coordination with design and engineering teams
• Review drawings for clarity, accuracy, presentation, and compliance with QA and QC requirements
• Create and manage parametric and non-parametric BIM families and content
• Apply strong understanding of LOD requirements across all project stages
• Perform clash detection using Autodesk Navisworks and prepare coordination and clash reports
• Generate schedules and quantity take-offs directly from BIM models
• Support multidisciplinary coordination and resolve BIM and drafting issues
• Carry out additional drafting and BIM-related responsibilities as required

Ideal Profile

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
• Minimum ten years of CAD drafting experience within MEA or UAE on wet utilities projects
• Proven experience on storm water drainage, irrigation, sewerage, and related infrastructure works
• Strong working knowledge of MicroStation, Autodesk Civil 3D, and AutoCAD
• Solid understanding of BIM processes and LOD requirements
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Experience working within structured QA and BIM environments
