Position Overview
The BIM CAD Technician role at Parsons Corporation in Dubai supports infrastructure and dry utilities projects by delivering accurate BIM and CAD drawings for power, lighting, telecom, ICT, and security networks. Key Responsibilities

• Produce BIM and CAD deliverables for infrastructure dry utilities including MV and LV power distribution, street lighting, telecom, ICT and security duct networks, and pumping stations
• Coordinate with CAD and BIM managers, design leads, and engineers to complete assigned deliverables in line with project standards and quality requirements
• Develop engineering drawings such as layouts, arrangements, flow sheets, isometrics, assemblies, and component details from sketches and design inputs
• Review drawings for clarity, presentation, and adherence to standards in accordance with company QA and QC procedures
• Create and manage parametric and non-parametric BIM families and content libraries
• Collaborate with other disciplines to resolve coordination and interface issues
• Support project documentation and deliverables within agreed timelines and procedures
• Perform additional technical tasks as required to support project delivery

Ideal Profile

• Diploma or Engineering degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or Draughtsman-related discipline
• Minimum three years of CAD drafting experience within UAE or MEA infrastructure and dry utilities projects
• Proven exposure to MV and LV networks, street lighting, telecom, ICT and security duct systems, and pumping stations
• Familiarity with local authority electricity standards and regulations including DEWA, SEWA, Etihad WE, and Dubai Municipality is preferred
• Strong ability to work within multidisciplinary teams and follow established standards
