Billing Executive (Arabic Speaking)
Job Title: Billing Executive
Department: Finance / Billing
Reports To: Billing Manager / Finance Manager
Job Purpose:
The Billing Executive is responsible for managing the accurate and timely processing of patient invoices, handling insurance claims, and ensuring smooth financial transactions with patients and insurance providers. Fluency in Arabic is essential for effective communication with patients and local insurance companies.
Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and submit accurate claims to various insurance companies (DHA, HAAD, MOH, and international payers).
• Verify patient insurance eligibility and coverage before procedures.
• Process payments from patients and insurance companies, including cash, credit cards, and online transfers.
• Follow up on outstanding claims, resolve rejections or denials, and re-submit claims as necessary.
• Handle patient inquiries regarding bills, explain charges, and arrange payment plans when needed.
• Coordinate with the medical and front desk teams to ensure all charges are captured correctly.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of insurance regulations and coding updates (e.g., ICD-10, CPT).
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly billing reports for management.
• Ensure strict confidentiality of all patient financial information.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a medical billing role, preferably within a UAE hospital or clinic.
• Language: Fluency in Arabic and English is mandatory.
• Technical Skills: Proficient in hospital management software and MS Office, especially Excel.
• Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of UAE health insurance processes and regulations.
• Soft Skills: Excellent communication, customer service, problem-solving, and attention to detail.
