Duties and Responsibilities
Picking up and delivering various items, such as food, documents, or packages, to designated locations.
Determining the most efficient routes for deliveries to minimize travel time and ensure timely arrival.
Ensuring that packages are securely handled and protected from damage during transit.
Maintaining clear communication with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and any issues that arise.
Collecting payments from recipients when required.
Maintaining accurate records of deliveries and any other relevant information.
Ensuring that vehicles have sufficient gas and are always ready for use.
Driver Requirements / Skills / Qualifications
Driver job description should include these common skills and qualifications:
A high school diploma
Proven experience as a Driver
A valid driver's license
A clean driving record
Minimum visual acuity of 20/50 (or corrected to 20/50)
Familiarity with GPS devices
Knowledge of area roads and neighborhoods
Ability to lift heavy packages and luggage
Availability to occasionally take weekend and night shifts
A polite and professional disposition
Ability to remain calm in stressful driving situations (e.g. at rush hour
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED3,000.00 per month
License/Certification:
* Valid UAE driving license (Preferred)
