Job Title: Messenger (Logistics Department)

Experience Required: Minimum 1 Year in Logistics/Shipping Industry

We are looking for a reliable and efficient Messenger with at least 1 year of experience in the logistics or shipping industry. The candidate will be responsible for delivering and collecting documents, coordinating with customs and ports, and supporting the operations team to ensure smooth cargo movement and documentation flow.

Key Responsibilities:

Timely collection and delivery of shipping and customs documents between offices, ports, shipping lines, and clients. Submitting and collecting documents from government departments (e.g., Customs, Port Authorities, Chamber of Commerce, etc.). Assisting with Bill of Entry) Delivery Orders , and other documentation as per shipping requirements. Supporting the logistics and operations teams with courier dispatch, stamping, and signing of documents. Coordinating with transporters, shipping lines, and internal departments for document exchange. Maintaining a proper log of all documents handled and submitted. Ensuring confidentiality and proper handling of sensitive company documentation. Following up on pending documents and escalating delays if any. Supporting urgent tasks such as cheque collection, bank visits, or client-side errands as instructed.
Qualifications and Skills:

Minimum 1 year of experience as a messenger in a logistics, freight forwarding, or shipping company. Good understanding of port and customs document handling. Basic knowledge of delivery order, BOE, and logistics paperwork. Ability to read and understand basic English Valid UAE driving license (if required for the role). Well-organized, punctual, and responsible. Familiar with UAE routes, ports (JAFZA, Port Rashid, etc.), and government departments is a plus. Physically fit and able to handle travel across multiple office or port locations.
Working Conditions:

Field-based job; requires frequent travel between offices, ports, and client sites. May involve occasional extended hours depending on operational urgency.

Pay: AED2,000.00 - AED2,500.00 per month
