The Bid/Proposal Manager will be…
Reporting to the Head of Loyalty Marketing, the Bid/Proposal Manager will be responsible for day-to-day proposals management on behalf of the ENTERTAINER Business sales team, globally. We are seeking an energetic team player to create standout new business pitch decks and visually impactful client presentations. Our ideal candidate has a keen eye for content creation and is an expert at communicating information visually with graphics, typography, infographics and diagrams. Working across different verticals and sectors, the Bid/Proposal Manager is the central point of contact during the sales process, managing the seamless delivery and execution of all proposals, bids, presentations and collateral. The Bid/Proposal Manager needs to be confident and strategic, bringing new and innovative ideas to the sales process, championing the ENTERTAINER Business products and services and ensuring industry best practices are met. The ENTERTAINER Business is a fast-paced environment that is both challenging and rewarding – Bid/Proposal Manager will need to be agile, can multi-task and prioritise workloads, think quickly and be determined to meet deadlines.
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Creates/Reviews the application, submission, process management and reporting of tenders by coordinating with all required stakeholders such as business partners, customer service, sales & marketing, business lines, legal and regulatory.
  • Acts as a key point of contact to Sales team/ Key Account Management Team in the process of building the tender response or preparing new proposals for existing clients.
  • Build, maintain and organize the knowledge library for old proposal, best practices linked within our industry and continuously enhance knowledge to be self reliant while building new proposals
  • Ability to build a strong collaboration and alignment with all key stakeholders such as Sales team, Technical Business Managers, fellow team members and project controlling team.
  • Responsible for creating & editing unique and compelling content from multiple sources, collation and review of all documents, use his/her knowledge in preparing the response document, conduct online research/ refer old presentations for picking relevant examples and preparing the final submissions/ presentations for business teams
  • Proactively identify needs and create templated documents, presentations, spreadsheets for various business requirements and maintain a knowledge library.
  • Ensures adherence to internal policies and guidelines such as Limit of Authority (LoA), Credit Committee and Fin Risk directives
  • Understands, implements, and continuously improves the Bid processes to achieve departmental goals, quality objectives and Company’s mission.
  • Identifies the implication of risks towards feasibility, timelines in submission and defines respective mitigation measures accordingly.
  • Document template management in line with company branding.
  • Supports sales team by building templated documents for self help, while they need to respond on company profiles or business capabilities etc.
Bid Management An additional function to the role will also be the owner of the end-to-end bid process. Responsibilities include the introduction and implementation of all necessary bid procedures, governance, and process. This is a highly networked role that requires an ability to work under pressure and to challenging deadlines. It will require strong people management and commercial skills. A key focus will be on the bid campaign management, from opportunity identification through to project delivery, providing valuable input into opportunity qualification, win strategies, commercial discussions and solution design:
  • To manage the bid qualification (bid go / no go) process for new opportunities
  • Manage virtual bid teams and inputs from a variety of stakeholders, typically involving contributions from sales, marketing, product teams, finance, commercial, legal and delivery
  • Preparing and reviewing the commercial aspects of the bid, ensuring all services are included in the final price to the customer
  • Contributing to the written proposal - both in terms of content and presentation (such as preparation of a management summary)
  • Ensure timely delivery of compliant and commercially sound bids
  • Understand and resolve complex technical, strategic and business issues

You’ll enjoy and succeed in this job if you have the following skills….
  • Over 5 years experience in a similar role
  • High proficiency in Presentation Software, including Keynote and PowerPoint
  • A keen learner and quick to understand existing business practices.
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills
  • Skills in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, XD, Photoshop et al)
  • Familiarity with WordPress and/or landing page creation is a plus
  • Research and analytical skill
  • Knowledge in the area of marketing especially in the digital phase, business development and client relationship management
  • Should be passionate about the mobile industry and should have an urge for learning
  • Knowledge in the technology space and its current and upcoming trends
  • An understanding of Travel, Retail, FMCG, Telco, Banking industries would be beneficial
  • Experience working in a similar fast-paced environment preferred
  • Ability to manage multiple projects – organised, thorough, with great attention to detail
  • Be results driven and take ownership of projects
  • The ability to work as part of wider teams as well as alone
  • Reliable, competent, quick to find solutions to problems
  • Ability to work under own initiative
