Local Unit & Position Description

• Disseminate the bids / opportunities to Regional Sales team for assessment and collect the bid / no bid decisions.
• Complete pre-qualification questionnaires, invitations to tender, pricing tables and ad-hoc requests for support using information in the content library.
• Ensure timely completion to meet deadlines and full compliance with tender requirements.
• Calculate pricing for proposals using excel plus manual calculations.
• Lead bid opportunities and pricing for proposals.
• Review information received with the bid to determine a list of tender deliverables. Compile tender responsibility matrix and assign actions to bid response members.
• Organise / administer / lead kick off, progress meetings and pricing discussions to ensure that all technical and commercial questions are answered by the responsible stakeholders.
• Prepare template documents for each opportunity following the requirements, detailing the draft structure of the proposal: submission letter, team members, technical approach, pricing, general DNV presentation and references.
• Provide information to the DNV corporate functions to clear submission from a legal, tax and treasury perspective.
• Assist in managing the content for content library and registration on and review of online tender portals.
• Conduct administrative work surrounding tender preparation and submission: documents collection and collation, CV formatting, proofreading, collate client references, testimonials and general feedback on tenders submitted.
• Regularly liaise with affiliates and Regional / Global team to update country tender information (capabilities, pricing, etc.).

Position Qualifications

• Sound tender and pricing background
• Excellent team worker with good interpersonal skills to be able to communicate effectively with various DNV businesses and functions
• Knowledge of the TIC Industry
• Advanced Microsoft skills including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Excellent numeracy skills for the creation of pricing
• Ability to explain reasons for pricing calculations
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proofreading and strong command of the English language, grammar, and sentence structure
• Capable of managing multiple projects to deadlines under tight time pressures
• Flexible in working hours to allow for conference calls across international time zones
• Engineer Oil & Gas background
