A leading Telecommunication group in Abu Dhabi working on major government projects is looking for a BI Developer to join their team. Location: Abu Dhabi BI Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining systems and solutions that facilitate data analysis and reporting for organizations. Their primary focus is to transform raw data into meaningful insights that can aid in informed decision-making. Responsibilities: Data Modelling and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load): Designing and implementing data models that represent the organization\xe2\x80\x99s data accurately and efficiently.
Creating ETL processes to extract data from various sources, transform it into a usable format, and load it into data warehouses or data marts.
Ensuring data quality and consistency throughout the ETL process.
Database Management: Developing and maintaining databases, data warehouses, and data cubes.
Writing and optimizing SQL queries to retrieve and manipulate data.
Performance tuning of databases to ensure optimal query performance.
Reporting and Visualization: Designing and developing interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations using BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, QlikView).
Translating business requirements into meaningful visual representations of data.
Enabling end-users to explore data and generate insights independently.
Data Analysis: Collaborating with business stakeholders to understand their data analysis needs and requirements.
Analyzing data trends, patterns, and anomalies to identify opportunities for business improvement.
Providing data-driven recommendations based on analysis results.
BI Infrastructure Maintenance: Monitoring and maintaining the performance and availability of BI systems and tools.
Implementing security measures to safeguard sensitive data and ensure compliance with data privacy regulations.
Collaboration: Working closely with data engineers, data scientists, business analysts, and other teams to ensure alignment of BI solutions with business goals.
Participating in cross-functional projects and initiatives.
Qualifications and Skills: Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Strong proficiency in SQL for querying and manipulating data.
Experience with ETL tools and processes.
Proficiency in at least one major BI tool such as Tableau, Power BI, QlikView, or similar.
Understanding of data warehousing concepts and methodologies.
Familiarity with database management systems (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL).
Knowledge of data visualization best practices and principles.
Problem-solving skills to identify and resolve data-related issues.
Strong communication skills to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and projects.
Salary: AED 12,000 to 17,000 (Depending upon experience)
