Job Description

The Bellman is responsible for providing warm, efficient, and professional assistance to guests upon arrival and departure. The role includes handling luggage, escorting guests, and ensuring a smooth and pleasant guest experience in line with hotel standards.

Key Responsibilities:



Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with luggage loading and unloading. Escort guests to their rooms, explain room features, and ensure their comfort. Handle luggage storage, retrieval, and safe delivery to guest rooms. Assist guests with transportation arrangements, directions, and general information. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the lobby, entrance, and luggage areas. Respond promptly to guest requests and coordinate with relevant departments. Assist with valet services if required (subject to hotel policy). Ensure all guests receive a welcoming and memorable first impression. Uphold safety and security procedures while handling luggage and equipment. Support Front Office operations during busy periods.

Qualifications & Skills:



Previous experience as a Bellman or in guest services is an advantage. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Professional appearance and positive attitude. Physically fit and able to lift and carry luggage safely. Knowledge of local attractions, transportation options, and hotel facilities. Ability to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays. Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
