Royal Salon is a premium unisex salon and spa offering a full suite of beauty and grooming services. We provide advanced facials and hydra-facial treatments, precision eyebrow threading, waxing, full nails services, and Moroccan bath/body-rituals among our menu. We are seeking a dedicated Beauty & Spa Therapist to lead the facial, skin-care and hair-removal services while having optional skills in nails and spa-bath rituals to offer extra value.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct professional client consultations: assess skin condition, hair-removal needs, nail/spa interests; recommend appropriate treatments and after-care. Deliver facial treatments (cleansing, exfoliation, hydration, masks) and advanced systems such as hydra-facial. Perform eyebrow threading and full-body waxing (face, underarms, legs, arms, bikini, etc.), with precision, hygiene and comfort. Maintain high standards of hygiene, sanitation, and ensure a safe, relaxing environment for all treatments. Optionally deliver full nails services (manicure, pedicure, gel/regular, nail art/enhancements) as part of the client experience. Optionally provide Moroccan bath / hammam / body-scrub treatments as a value-added service when required. Build and nurture strong client relationships: clearly explain treatment steps, after-care guidance, service options and expected outcomes. Actively upsell appropriate add-on treatments (e.g., enhanced facial boosters, nail upgrades, spa ritual extensions) and retail products to meet personal and team revenue targets. Maintain accurate client records: treatment history, preferences, product recommendations. Work collaboratively with reception, salon assistants and other team members to ensure flawless scheduling, client flow and service delivery. Keep up to date with latest skincare, hair-removal, nail and spa-treatment trends, equipment and premium products; participate in ongoing training as required.

Skills & Experience -- Required

Minimum

2-5 years

of experience in a salon/spa environment providing facials, threading/waxing, nails or related beauty services. Demonstrable experience with facial treatments; preferably exposure to hydra-facial or other advanced skin-care systems. Proficient in eyebrow threading and waxing techniques; experienced in working with a variety of skin/hair types. Competent in full nails services (manicure, pedicure, gel/regular) is a strong plus. Treatment of Moroccan bath / body-rituals (scrubs/hammam) is a value-add advantage.

Excellent communication skills in English

: able to consult, explain treatment options, manage client expectations and build rapport. Additional languages (Arabic and/or Tagalog) would be

. Upselling mindset: able to identify add-on opportunities and confidently recommend services/products while maintaining client trust. Professional appearance and attitude, punctual, team-oriented, able to multitask across service types. Fluent in English; Arabic and/or Tagalog a plus. Valid UAE work permit or eligible for employment visa.

Qualifications

Diploma/certification in Beauty Therapy / Cosmetology or related field preferred. Portfolio or documented evidence of treatment work: facials / skin-care / threading / waxing / nails (if applicable). Training/certification in hydra-facial or advanced skin-care systems preferred. Hygiene/sanitation certification and any required local licensing (Dubai) preferred.

Excellent listening, interpersonal and consultation skills: able to ask the right questions, understand client needs, explain clearly and tailor service accordingly. Detail-oriented and dexterous: especially important for threading, waxing, nails. Adaptable, willing to perform a range of services (facials, nails, spa rituals) as required. Calm under pressure, able to maintain high quality during peak hours. Growth-oriented: eager to learn new techniques, contribute to team success and help expand service offerings.
